Follow these instructions to access your competitors Facebook ads directly through the new Facebook Ad Library (Easiest way):
- Visit: https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/
- Type your competitor’s company or Facebook page name into the search bar and select their page.
- This will take you to the page’s Ad library where you can see all of your competitor’s Facebook ads. You can also sort the ads by country.
- Done, it’s as easy as that! You’re all set to spy on competitors Facebook ads.
Follow these instructions to access your competitors Facebook ads through the normal Facebook interface:
- Go to the Facebook search bar and type your competitor’s name.
- Click on competitor’s Facebook page.
- If you’re on a desktop device: Scroll down a little bit and in the right-hand sidebar find the section “Page Transparency”. Then click on “See More”. If you’re on a mobile phone: Scroll down a little bit when you’re on the default Facebook page and also find the “Page Transparency” section. Then click on “See More”.
- On the page that is showing after clicking the “See More” link you’ll find a section called “Ads from this Page”. Click on the link called “View in Ad Library”. This will take you to the page’s Ad library where you can see all of your competitor’s Facebook ads. You can also sort the ads by country.

Hint: This trick only works if you see your competitors Facebook ad in your newsfeed. If they’re using remarketing and if you’re within their defined demographics and target area, there is a high likelihood you’ll see their ad in your newsfeed soon.

- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the ad.
- Click on “Why am I seeing this?” from the dropdown menu.
- It’ll show you the age group and target area your competitors have defined in their ad targeting settings.
